BANGKOK to KOH SAMUI

To get to Koh Samui from Bangkok by train.

You will have to get the train to Surat Thani and then bus to Donsak ferry terminal and then connect with the ferry.

The best train to take is train number 85 which you can get the bus from Surat Thani train station at 08:00 hour and reach ferry terminal at 09:30 in time for the ferry at 10:00 and will reach Koh Samui at 11:30 however, you can get the next ferry if the train somehow get delayed!

The train ticket can only be purchased 60 days in advance so book your ticket well in advance to avoid disappointment! , especially first class train ticket which sold out very fast! during the peak time in November-February and Thai holiday season(Songkran April 8-17th, Buddhist Lent around August 18-25th.

KOH SAMUI to BANGKOK

The bus leaves from Koh Samui(Nathorn) at 13:30 and the bus will get on the ferry at 14:00. The ferry will reach mainland(Donsak) at15:30, the bus will continue to Surat Thani Train station and arrive around 17:00. so you can choose to book the train to Bangkok from the table below.
